Joe Biden is losing a lot of things, including his ability to keep up with the demands of the presidency. During his COVID-19 speech on Monday, he demonstrated to the world that he has little power over the volume of his voice.
The president’s voice grew lower and lower as he began his rambling monologue. He’s almost whispering into the microphone at one point. Take a listen:
“We’re still at war with this lethal virus, and we’re beefing up our defenses,” he said, adding that the fight is far from over.
“We have so much to be proud of together in the last three weeks — past more than three weeks, past ten weeks,” he said, his voice weakening.
“But we still have a lot of reasons to be sad,” he said softly. “Nearly 1,000 Americans die every day from COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths to over 550,000 in a single year.”

Biden said quietly, “Before this nation is vaccinated, each of us has to do our part.” “We have a duty… a patriotic responsibility.”
“Wash your hands,” says the narrator. Maintain a social gap. The CDC recommends that you wear a mask. And get vaccinated,” he read from the teleprompter stiffly.
“When you can, have your friends and relatives vaccinated. This is not the time to disappoint. “This is not the time to rejoice,” he said solemnly. “It is time for us as a country to do what we do best: our responsibility, our work. Take care of one another and keep fighting until the end. We may and will succeed, so don’t give up just yet. Don’t let up just yet.”
The Biden administration seems to be unable to look at the trend that indicates COVID cases, hospitalizations, and deaths are all on the decline. The director of the CDC also claims that the American people are facing “impending doom.”
The coronavirus outbreak is winding down. President Biden, on the other hand, seems to be fading faster.
