BREAKING: Reports of ISIS Ties Have Surfaced

A horrific mass shooting in a Boulder, Colorado supermarket stunned Americans on Monday, leaving them with questions about how such a heinous crime could happen.

While the media speculated about who was responsible for the deaths of ten people, some people were led to believe it was a “white supremacist.” We now know that this is extremely unlikely.

According to OANN’s Jack Posobiec, a new report suggests that the gunman was an ISIS supporter.

The suspect in the Boulder, Colorado, shooting has been identified as Ahmad Alissa, according to the New York Daily News. “Police said Tuesday at a press conference that the 21-year-old has been charged with ten counts of first-degree murder in connection with the Monday afternoon shooting at the King Sooper supermarket.”

While the news media rushed to call for gun control after the mass shooting, the Boulder incident may once again demonstrate that the Democratic Party’s anti-terrorism efforts are misguided. Following a period of relatively few Islamic terror attacks during the Trump administration, it appears that the phenomenon may resurface.

“Between 2 and 3 p.m. local time Monday, a gunman opened fire at the King Soopers supermarket in Boulder,” the Daily News reported. “Among the ten people killed were Officer Eric Talley, 51, of the Boulder Police Department, who was responding to the shooting. The suspect was taken into custody after being injured.”

During a press conference on Tuesday, Colorado Gov. Jared Polis said, “I wish I could stand here and promise that pain will heal quickly.” “However, it will not… It’s difficult to see the light that shines through the darkness at times like these.”

He continued, “Not only did we lose ten lives, but this is true horror and terror.”

Boulder Police Chief Maris Herold provided an update on Monday night, but did not reveal the suspect’s name.

“First and foremost, I want to express our community’s heartfelt condolences to the victims of this horrific incident,” Herold said. “We know of ten fatalities at the scene, including Eric Talley, a Boulder Police Department officer who has been with the department since 2010.” He supported the Boulder Police Department and the Boulder community in a variety of ways.”

“And I have to tell you, because of this officer’s heroic actions when he arrived on the scene, at 14:30 hours, the Boulder Police Department began receiving phone calls about shots fired in the area and phone calls about a possible person with a patrol rifle,” he continued.

“Officer Talley was the first to arrive on the scene, and he was fatally shot. I also want to applaud the bravery of the officers who responded, not just from Boulder P.D., but from all over the county and region,” Chief Herold said. “The actions of the police officer were nothing short of heroic. I’d also like to express my gratitude to the men and women who responded, including state, local, and federal officials.”
