The Secret Service has no record of Hunter Biden having a handgun in 2018, however a recent study based on messages on Hunter Biden’s laptop contradicts the law enforcement agency’s claim.
The New York Post confirmed that “Hunter Biden sent a text message saying the Secret Service replied after his handgun went missing in 2018 — contradicting the agency’s claim that it wasn’t involved.”
“She took the pistol from my trunk lock box and dumped it in a garbage can at Jansens [sic].” Hunter wrote about Hallie Biden, the widow of his brother Beau Biden, whom he was dating at the time, saying, “Then told me it was my problem to deal with.”
“Then, when the cops, FBI, and secret service arrived, she said she took it from me because she was afraid I might injure myself because of my drug and alcohol addiction and our tumultuous relationship, and she was afraid for the kids,” the message read on January 29, 2019.
According to OANN’s Jack Posobiec, we now have a name for an official who supposedly helped in the cover-up.
According to messages collected through reporting, the Trump White House official who helped cover up Hunter Biden’s illicit weapon was Deputy Chief of Staff for Ops Tony Ornato, who was previously the Secret Service Assistant Director.
The New York Post discovered another message about the incident on Hunter Biden’s laptop, dated Dec. 6, 2018.
“Took it from the truck’s lock box and placed it in a paper bag, then tossed it in a trash can at a nearby high-end grocer. He wrote, “For no cause.”
“And I freaked out when I found it was missing 10 minutes after she took it, and when she went back to get it after I scared the s–t out of her, it was gone, leading to a state police investigation into me. This is a true story.”
Hunter Biden had a tense standoff with police in 2018 over his missing handgun, and he may have also broken the law. The gun store owner who sold Hunter Biden the was confronted by the Secret Service. According to a Politico article published on Thursday, a 38 caliber handgun was used.

The Secret Service was keeping an eye on Hunter Biden, despite the fact that he was not entitled to immunity. Hallie Biden had discovered Hunter’s handgun and tossed it in a trashbin near a local supermarket in Wilmington, Delaware, out of concern that he would use it to commit suicide.
Hunter Biden was irritated that Hallie had thrown his handgun in the garbage and demanded that she retrieve it. When she returned to retrieve the knife, it had already vanished. She dialed the store manager’s phone.
Along with local authorities, the FBI arrived on the scene. Hunter Biden was asked whether he had used the gun to commit a crime by a police officer.
“Listen, it isn’t like that,” Hunter said when police asked if he was drunk or on drugs. I assume she thinks I was planning to commit suicide.” According to the Daily Mail, he also called two Mexican shop owners “suspicious” and “possibly illegal.”
As the investigation progressed, police discovered the gun store where Hunter Biden had purchased the weapon.
According to two sources, one of whom has firsthand knowledge of the episode and the other was briefed by a Secret Service agent after the fact, Secret Service agents confronted the owner of the store where Hunter purchased the gun and demanded to take the paperwork surrounding the sale.
According to the two individuals, the gun store owner declined to include the paperwork because he suspected the Secret Service officers tried to conceal Hunter’s possession of the missing gun in case it was used in a crime. The papers were later turned over to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, which regulates federal gun laws,” according to the article.
Hunter Biden’s pistol was discovered by a man who regularly dumpster dived near Janssen’s Market, where she chose to dispose of the weapon. He then handed it over to the authorities.
According to Politico, the problem is that the Secret Service claims it has no record of the incident.
